DECISION

ON AVERAGE ELECTRICITY RETAIL PRICE BRACKET

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated February 18, 2025;

Pursuant to the Law on Electricity dated November 30, 2024;

At request of the Minister of Industry and Trade;

The Prime Minister promulgates Decision on average electricity retail price bracket.

Article 1. Scope and regulated entities

1. This Decision prescribes average electricity retail price bracket under Point b Clause 3 Article 50 of the Law on Electricity No. 61/2024/QH15.

2. This Decree applies to agencies, organizations, and individuals engaged in electricity operations and electricity use.

Article 2. Average electricity retail price bracket

Average electricity retail price bracket (VAT not included) is prescribed as follows:

1. The minimum average electricity retail price is 1.826,22 VND/kWh;

2. The Maximum average electricity retail price is 2.444,09 VND/kWh.

Article 3. Organizing implementation

In case of significant changes to parameters used for calculation of price bracket, electricity production and sale expenditure, and demands for allocation of expenditure that has not been included in average electricity retail price, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has the responsibility to calculate, amend, and submit average electricity retail price bracket to the Prime Minister for decision.

Article 4. Entry into force

1. This Decision comes into force from the date of signing.

2. Decision No. 02/2023/QD-TTg dated February 3, 2023 of the Prime Minister on average electricity retail price bracket shall expire from the effective date hereof.

3. Ministers, heads of ministerial agencies, heads of Governmental agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and central-affiliated cities, heads of electricity entities, and relevant organizations have the responsibility to implement this Decree
